Selfishness
I'm still trying to understand why some people are so selfish. I'm just tired of people hurting someone else, or multiple people, to get what they want, as long as it makes them temporarily happy. I'm tired of being hurt, because people use me as a temporary fix. No one is perfect, and I'm not saying anyone is. I just wish that people would at least try to do something besides breaking others hearts to get what they want.

You have struck an, I want to say an eternal chord, but I'll say "earthly". Why do we do anything we do? What are our hidden agendas? Through our conversations, relationships and study we begin to comprehend ourselves and others. Boy does it take a long time! It seems never ending. I'm thankful for the gospel that gives us the principles and practices that help us along the way. Keep at it and continue to work on being selfless rather than selfish. The only person we are in control of is ourselves. BP
